Instagram Benoy is an Australian born visual artist practising in The Netherlands whose work questions fundamental human nature. 

While the majority of his portfolio is heavily theoretical, he is more recently concerned with how human nature connects to concrete case studies using a more experimental approach.

With a background in event photography, mathematics and music in Australia, Benoy continued alongside studying Culture, History and Society, at Leiden University College to consistently develop his artistic voice at The Royal  Academy of Art in Den Haag. 

Within the persuit of both interests, Benoy found ways of expression which combined both the cultural/historical/societal and creative/artistic spheres and aims to continue exploring these relations through the different mediums of: photography, writing, graphic design, film, sculpture, and performance.
