Instagram Benoy is an Australian-born visual artist practising in the Netherlands, whose work questions fundamental human nature.

While the majority of his portfolio is heavily theoretical, he has more recently become concerned with how human nature connects to concrete case studies, taking a more experimental approach.

With a background in event photography, mathematics and music in Australia, Benoy went on to study Culture, History and Society at Leiden University College while developing his artistic voice at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. 

In pursuing both interests, he has found modes of expression that bring together the cultural, historical and societal with the creative and artistic — and aims to continue exploring these relationships across a range of mediums: photography, writing, graphic design, film, sculpture and performance.
